Calicinto Ranch

Calicinto Ranch, a private facility, located in San Jacinto, reaches out to the over 70,000 children of prisoners in Southern California through its year-round Incarceration Prevention Program. Through Prison Fellowship’s Angel Tree program, Calicinto receives the names of children whose lives have been significantly affected by the poor decisions made by their parents.  The program teaches the children how to deal with feelings of frustration and anger, and how the children can break the cycle of crime that 7 out of 10 of them will repeat (Barna Research). Bible Fellowship Church actively supports Calicinto as a local mission.  BFC members provide volunteer help, and donations of food items for holiday events for the prisoners’ families.  ReBuild Thrift store located in San Jacinto accepts gently items to be sold to benefit the program.  Please check out Calicinto’s website for more information: www.calicintoranch.org.  Or contact the ranch at 951.654.6838.

If you are a regular at BFC, you can contact Scott or Debbie Petter for further information about this ministry.  You can also read all about Calicinto Ranch on their website.
