California Family Life Center's mission is to provide safety, comfort and healing to children suffering abuse and abandonment; to teach love and trust; to instill self-esteem, values and hope for the future – and in so doing, assist children trapped in hopelessness and despair become compassionate and contributing members of the community.
While accepting some government funding, CFLC has an arm that is dedicated solely to reaching kids with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Chaplain Ozzie Ministries provides Bibles for every person who desires to have one, sends kids to Christian camps and promotes a program at Christmas that gives the community opportunity to buy and wrap gifts for all the kids involved in the CFLC programs.
