Paul and Joyce have served with Wycliffe Bible Translators since 1977.  Working first in Dallas, they went to Malaysia in 1985 with their two children, four-year-old Eric and four-month-old Karen.  They served seven years in administration there.   They went to Singapore in 1995 where Paul served  with Asia SIL.  In January 1997, the office was moved to Darwin, Australia, and they remained there until 1999.

Paul and Joyce returned to the US and the Graduate Institute of Applied Linguistics in Dallas, a specialized school that trains personnel for Bible translation, linguistics, literacy and related tasks in remote language groups.  Paul oversees the accounting department, and Joyce serves in museum as a docent, in public relations, and in childcare for WBT.   Eric is married lives and works in Austin, Texas, and Karen is working in Dallas.

Paul & Joyce praise the Lord for the significant work done through the Bible Translation Team.  In 1978, 100 New Testaments had been completed; now over 600 have been dedicated.  Their vision is to have a translation work begun in  all the remaining languages by 2025.
