Mark Bryan grew up in San Jacinto. He attended Prairie Bible Institute for four years where he met Becky. They joined in marriage August 18, 1972, in Becky’s hometown of Stow, Ohio. Four days later they arrived in Austria where they have been serving the Lord ever since. The Bryans joined D.M.Stearns Missionary Fund in 1991 and in 1995 came under the oversight of the Mission to Southeast Europe which has its headquarters in Germany.
Through the years, they have adjusted their ministry as the Lord has led them to strengthen Austrian evangelical churches. That has included youth work, evangelistic outreach, preaching, worship service leadership, visitation, counseling, church leadership and church planting. Their greatest focus has been on sharing the Word with children. Mark & Becky have created materials for children’s ministry, especially concentrating on Bible-lesson-centered craft projects which accompany and reinforce Bible truths. They also develop special family worship materials. Some of their materials are in English, German and Spanish and can be seen on their austroventure.com website. Materials will be added regularly.
